DOMINICAN PROJECTS
People Helping People Global is proud to announce a new partnership with another Vermont based group who conducts work in the Dominican Republic. This group is a grass root organization which has been in operation for many years and will now be a fiscally sponsored project of PHPG. The group partners with the RHSJ (Fanny Allen Sisters) and the Association for the Betterment of San Jose de Ocoa in the Dominican Republic to achieve its mission.
Their programs include building of houses and community centers, medical and school supplies, well child clinics, shoes for the poor and many small projects that are identified during the annual trips to the region.
This group is strictly a volunteer organization. All monies received are used for the projects expenses and volunteers are responsible for their own food and transportation costs.
